Onething 2008 Conference Audio

onething is a part of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Missouri (IHOP–KC). Beginning in 1999, Mike Bickle gathered a few young adults together to start a prayer meeting that has continued night and day since. With every prayer meeting having a full worship team, we total 84 two-hour prayer meetings a week with over 1,000 people involved, continuing over seven years of unceasing night and day prayer, and continue to watch the fire on the altar burn unceasingly.
It is from this seedbed of night and day prayer that we call this generation to a wholehearted pursuit of God, challenging them to seek Him with lives of prayer, fasting and fulfilling the Great Commission. Each year, we have over nine conferences around the nation. Also, we offer two leadership summits and a youth conference, which imparts vision and demonstrates practical ways to living out wholehearted devotion. We desire to see millions of young adults have deep understanding of God’s emotions and profound knowledge of the hour in which they live.

Although I did not attend OneThing, a friend of mine explained to me the major points that Mike Bickle would be discussing during the conference. Hearing the material provoked me to purchase the messages and make them freely available on RawReligion.com. I have organized the conference segments by day. Listening to track nine, “Forerunner Ministry: Preparing for the Day of the Lord.” Mike says that we should prepare by storing up righteousness instead of stockpiling food. The reason? In that day, if we’re truly living the Sermon on the Mount lifestyle, we will give up all our stockpiles to those in need. The answer is not to develop a survivalist mentality; the answer is to pursue God to the depths so that we can drawn on mana from heavan and water from a rock.
That is a good word. I’ve heard a lot about preparing for survival in the natural. Mike’s word is a welcomes alternative to ponder.

I am finding that ‘#9 Forerunner Ministry: Preparing for the Day’ seems to have a different MP3 playing than the one titled. The one that plays has Misty Edwards preaching (should be Mike Bickle ?)…

How did you come across my site?
I found it thru google, looking for downloadable mp3’s from the conference. I have been watching it live, but wanted to be able to go over the teachings again at a later time. Thanks for providing on your site. This conference has been awesome !!

Yo! Thank you MUCH for getting this online! I just linked to your site from the IHOP-KC Free Online Archive (http://ihopkcfreeonlinearchive.ning.com)concerning Onething 2008. Wanted you to know.
We have a strategy for getting IHOP-KC teaching ultimately to the Internet Archive (www.archive.org) for free streaming and storage, (and for other reasons, also) then merely linking to them from our site (and ANY member can link to files across the web from our site).
But we are hoping to centralize access to IHOC-KC FREE material in such a manner. but we want to AT LEAST link to IHOP-KC stuff from ANYWHERE on the web.
So anyways, I linked to your site for our audience.
You may be interested in the many other conferences and series that are already posted.
We hope it becomes a virtual library of EVERY IHOP-KC teaching that is out there. Kudos on getting Onething 2008 onto the internet!

Hi, Matt!
You are God-sent! I was able to watch only some parts of ONETHING 2008 on God TV and I prayed to have access to its other good parts. Finding the audio files in your site gave me much relief as well as great joy. This will certainly aid me in teaching our church’s core intercession group.
What the Lord is saying to me currently? The Lord is in one of the final phase of his redemptive work before His return. He has been raising up prophetic intercessors and fueling the intercession movement with emphasis on prophetic teaching towards righteousness, repentance and restoration. Lou Engle’s message on the Elijah ministry being established by God really hit the nail on the head. I believe the remnant Church and the remnant Israel are about to enter their finest hours in the history of mankind. The times will only get more perilous and challenging and the devil will only get fiercer and more tenacious, but the Spirit of the Lord will also be relentless and sovereign! May he find all of us faithful and undeceived!

Thanks so much for this resource! I found out about it from eatthescroll.net. I was able to catch a lot of the conference online and have been watching the video archives on IHOP’s site, but it’s great to have the .mp3s!
I’ve been really impacted by the forerunner message and challenged to pursue the knowledge of God in a greater way, committing myself to prayer and fasting and study of the Word and raising up forerunners in this generation of the Lord’s return!
I believe its a song called “The Battle Is Raging”…. It's actually not by Misty Edwards, but another worship leader called Laura Hackett- which it's a brand new song and isn't out yet… Could be another song I might be mistaken!

could you maybe make these downloadable? since IHOP doesnt have a problem with people handing out their teachings to everyone, then there shouldnt be any fear of it being illegal… I would love to be able to put these on my mp3 player and listen to em throughout my day.

Do you have the Fascinate ‘08 conference by chance? Are you planning to post this year’s Onething Conference? I was at the 08 Onething and thought Misty’s session was amazing so I downlaoded the radical call to the first commandment earlier this year and i’ve listened to it dozens of times and each time I learn something deeper. Thank you!
